I know I know...it's only mid October but this morning the mountain tops were fresh brilliant white under the Autumn sun....a reminder that winter is quickly approaching. It is wise to book your winter stay early so as not to limit your choice of avaialbility. One thing is for certain is in staying at (and owning) a bed and breakfast you meet the most interesting array of travellers whose path you most likely would never cross otherwise. You sit, you drink coffee you play cards you eat breakfast and all the while you converse. You have the opportunity to learn about other countries, professions, family traditions and hobbies. You gain insight into other cultures and ways of life. And guests experience life, meals, tradtions of us here in Canada. In the past couple of weeks we have had guests from Canada, USA, Australian, UK, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, and Belguim. They come to us from all walks of life, tradespeople, physicians, lawyers, personal trainers, chefs,technical engineers,retirees, couples, honeymooners and multi generation families. Sometimes in this world we can feel all alone in a crowd...at a bed and breakfast that is not the case. It is a very enjoyable experience and we hope that you will give it and us a try!
